Consistency in life today!!!

Since the beginning, it has been grilled in us that consistency is the key to everything. Some examples like :

  • If we have to lose weight we have to exercise consistently.
  • If we have to get good marks we have to study consistently
The bottom line to get a result we have to do something regularly.
Consistency is nothing but training our brains to do one thing over and over again. Do you remember in school, before the exams, we used to regularly practice the maths questions to make sure nothing is missed. But in the exam, if there was even a small change to anything we would get confused.
Some will say that's the key to success. It's just a pattern. If something in the pattern changes then we are confused and lost. The brain of a growing kid till the age of 7yr is developing and they can adapt to any change easily.
Let's ask this question: When you are always short of time with kids and office how do you find consistency?

My personal struggle with consistency started with this lockdown. Intially the phase was very enjoyable .But then I found that there was something missing. My workouts were not regular. I was sleeping and eating at odd hours . My kid had no schedule for study. Its been couple of months like that and I am still trying to find consistency in life again. Some has come back with kid going to online classes but my workouts are not consistent yet.

What are your thoughts on consistency and how are you  trying to be consistent with life in general?

  1. I personally feel, it has a lot to do with maintaining psychological balance within. Though consistency is paramount, it's important to be wary of any kind of uncertainty.

Unfortunately, the struggle isn't the same for all. Accordingly, it's becomes difficult to remain sane when an inevitable change hits you hard. Some changes are good & it's only wise to embrace them.

May be, it all just boils down to how well one prioritizes things & how receptive they are to any kind of change.

  3. True thoughts. We all are facing the same issues. I believe it is how and what we make out of any situation. Eventually things would fall in place, hence to make the most out of it till then.
